I spent three years completing a Psychology degree at university, graduating with first-class honours. This degree educated me in a variety of topics related to human behaviour, many of which equipped me with knowledge that aid my role as a support worker now. These include empathy, brain function & cognition, dementia, social issues and mental health to name a few.
Much of my knowledge and skills also come from own life experiences and my work as a Home Helper for Age UK Hertfordshire, as well as the experiences of my mother who has been a carer for 26 years.
A little more about me - I am an animal lover, a concert goer, avid tv and film watcher, amateur at gardening and photography, and I love to travel.
